Atonement
We carelessly make mistakes, or rather commit sins, over and over again to the point that repentance seems to be impossible. Most of the time, knowing the seriousness of our sins makes us question whether or not our repentance is accepted by Allah. I guess that is the thing about being human. We think too much to the extent where we forgot that we are not God. So why bother asking whether our repentance is accepted or not in the first place? Why think too much about our sins? Let bygones be bygones. Make amends with our own self and let Allah settle the rest. If you know you are sinned, repent and do not repeat the mistakes again. It is simple, really! Wallahualam.

It is not easy to repent. It is even harder to prevent oneself from sinning.

Deletewhen you have conflict with your internal self, everything becomes difficult.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a clear reason why you should repent? (read: you should repent because of such conflicts that you have with your internal self and because everything seems difficult).
ReplyDelete"Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." (2:222)
Wallahualam.
Difficult is good. It keeps you on your toes. You are more aware of His presence when you realize the conflict you have with your internal self. Most become forgetful of His presence when they don't realize they have conflicts. He knows we are weak and we are constantly forgetting what is important in life that is living. That is why he is forgiving.
DeleteTak bertaubat cemana nak diampunkan?
DeletePeople don't make announcement of their repentance. IF they do that , they are admitting to making dosa. Taubat is very personal. Most keep it to themselves.
