Option

Fairness and equality seem irrelevant these days. You work hard putting people you matter most as your priority but only to realise that you are nothing but just another option to them. Fret not, as much as people do this to you, you do the same to others too. Think of those moments when you put your friends or even your family members as an option when they needed you the most. Therefore, when shall this end? Its cyclical effect has made it apparent that as long as this earth spins, this situation will endlessly continue. How can we change?

Over the past few months, my life has somewhat flipped from being a teacher to an academic administrator. I have now held the portfolio of university ranking and rating in my workplace. Worry. I believe I may have picked up the habit of worrying from my mother. She worries a lot and when I'm worried, it's usually the deep and strong kind of worrying. Worry.  Jealousy. I remembered the earliest time when I started to feel jealous. It was during my childhood when I got jealous of my brother. I always felt my parents love him more than me. Nevertheless, I quickly got myself out of it. I knew my parents love us equally and differently. Jealousy. Worry and jealousy.
